Laity

Laity
From its very inception, the Sisters of Providence have worked in collaboration with lay persons of "goodwill", involved in the projects of hospitality, education, assistance, care, training and Christian formation.

Today, there being a greater awareness of the role of the laity in the Church and for a greater sensitivity of the civil world towards the weaker sections of the society, such collaboration appears even more significant and decisive when it comes to the expansion and continuity of the works of charity.

In the name of solidarity, one of the pivots of the Congregation, several groups have emerged spontaneously and/or organized such a way that following the example of St. Luigi, together with the Sisters, offer their service for the needy.
Many then, inspired to follow the example of the saint, in the way of charity, feel themselves part of a larger family: the Family of Providence.
